Hello, I'm Martin
I'm Martin Clarke, and I run AI Profit Centres from Doncaster. We build Talking Websites for tradesmen: a website and a voice agent, built together, so your customers can ask questions, get answers and book, even when you're up a ladder.
Where I came from
I spent years in sales management in the security industry. Then one Christmas I had a week off, had a proper think, walked back in and handed my notice in. I went into hypnotherapy instead, helping people put difficult things behind them and start again with a clean slate. Seeing what I do make a direct difference to a real person was something I never got from sales.
When you sell a lot of something, the main person who benefits is a director you never meet.
Why trades
That same reason is why AI Profit Centres works with tradespeople.
The big buzzword in AI is automation. But if you take on an automation project for a business with 20, 30 or 100 people in the office, you're really being paid to make some of them unemployed. Again, the people who benefit are directors you'll never see.
Work with a tradesperson and it's the opposite. The person who benefits is the one you're talking to, and their family. Every customer is someone with one less thing to worry about, who finds it a bit easier to give their family what they want to give them. I can't think of another kind of business where what I do helps the actual person in front of me as directly.
And I like working with people who are down to earth. With tradespeople, you can just about guarantee it.
So that's what this is all about. AI Profit Centres exists for one reason — to free up the profit centre that matters most: you.
How I work
Years of therapy work taught me to listen properly, so I talk to every customer myself before anything is built because I want to know my customers. That's the specification call: fifteen minutes on the phone, so your website sounds like your business, not a template. You see your site working on a Test Drive before you pay a penny, and once your Talking Website is live, we check your site and voice agent every hour.
Most websites: they find you, then you lose them. With us, they find you. Then you stay found.
We're new, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. That's why our first customers get a locked-in launch price, and why I'd rather you heard what we do than read about it.
