Changing things on your site
How do I get changes made to my website?
New number, new photos, something changed in your business? Just tell us. Small changes are free, and you never have to touch the website yourself.
Ask most tradespeople about their website and you'll hear the same story. Something needed changing, a phone number, a service they've stopped doing, the towns they cover, and it took weeks of chasing whoever built it. Or they had a go themselves one Sunday night and gave up.
Small changes are free
Your Talking Website is meant to keep up with your business. So the everyday changes are part of what you pay for, not an extra:
- A new phone number. Tell us when it changes, and we'll sort it.
- New photos. Especially photos of your latest jobs. We actively encourage these, because recent work is what customers want to see. Send them in once a month.
- New wording, because something in your business has changed: a new service, one you've stopped doing, a new area, a change to how you work. Send it in with your photos.
Give us a week to get photos and wording changes done. No forms, no tickets, no chasing.
Your agent keeps up too
Because your website and your agent are built together, when your business changes, your agent's answers change with your business. If you stop doing guttering, your agent stops offering to book guttering. You won't have one saying something the other doesn't.
A redesign is different
A completely new look is a different job. It isn't something you need every month, or every year, and it isn't free. If you ever want one, we'll talk it through and agree it with you first. Nothing changes on your site without you knowing.
You don't touch the website
That's the point. You're running a trade business, not a website. You send us what's changed, we change it, and you get back to work.
